Tullamore Tidy Towns has won many awards for Tullamore, each year progressing their marks, in the SuperValu Tidy Towns Competition, giving Tullamore national coverage and a great boost of excitement. This is thanks to the massive work by the volunteers together the energetic motivation of the committee, and behind the scenes work that can go unseen by the unknowing eye, in the form of applications and ideating and project planning taking place for much of the year.
To everyone who has taken a brush to the street, pulled a weed from the concrete, paddled a canoe in the canal to pull out rubbish, or given any time to the sustaining of Tullamore's natural and built beauty, we thank you.
We are all responsible for our town's beauty and care, and together with the County Council's support, the Tullamore Tidy Towns group has been making sure that Tullamore is a place that is clean to live in, and supports wildlife, biodiversity, and beauty.
The tidying of your area where you work or where you live can take place anytime. If you would like some more help or guidance on how to do this, please contact any of the Tullamore Tidy Towns committee who will be only happy to help and support you. They also have so much helpful information and know-how on their website that will inspire you.
